Anthony Ashby

Anthony Ashby was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada. Anthony has been practicing personal injury law for more than 30 years. During the first 20 years of his legal career, Anthony exclusively served insurance companies, hotels, casinos, and shopping malls as a defense lawyer. Anthony also co-founded one of the most successful insurance defense firms operating in Las Vegas. After 20 years, Anthony decided to use what he learned as a defense attorney to represent individuals and families who have suffered serious injury and death as the result of the negligence of individuals and corporations. In 2019, Anthony co-chaired an auto accident trial that was identified as #58 in a list of the top 100 auto accidents verdicts in the country. The jury verdict was $10,000,000.

Anthony has argued in more than 100 jury trials, more than 225 arbitrations, and dozens of mediations and, therefore, he is considered one of the most experienced litigation attorneys in Las Vegas.

In 2018, Anthony was recognized and rated by his peers and achieved an AV Preeminent rating by Martindale-Hubbell, the highest possible rating in both legal ability and ethical standards.

Anthony Ashby earned his Juris Doctor from Whittier College School of Law and has been practicing law for over three decades. He was admitted to the Nevada State Bar in 1993 and gained admission to the U.S. District Court for the District of Nevada the following year in 1994.
